Call for Papers The Journal of College Science Teaching (JCST) is seeking manuscripts that describe the best college-level ideas on and experiences with undergraduate science courses, particularly those for the nonscience major. Publishing in JCST is also an opportunity to report and discuss innovative teaching materials, methods, and evaluative criteria; disseminate contributions toward improving college science instruction; and describe work in disciplinary science courses that is broad enough in its approach to appeal to teachers in other scientific fields. All manuscripts are peer reviewed.
All Deadlines Are Open We are specifically seeking papers on the following topics:
- Teaching versus research
- Using technology in the classroom or laboratory
- Teaching in the community college
- Assessment
- Teaching students with disabilities
- Professional development
- Online courses
- Laboratory techniques
- Tracking student success
- Gender and diversity
- Unique programs or departmental set-ups
Author guidelines can be found at www.nsta.org/171. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically at authors.nsta.org. Further information can be obtained from Ken Roberts, Managing Editor, at kroberts@nsta.org.
