Session Evaluations and Tracking Conference Attendance

All attendees can now simultaneously evaluate sessions and track professional development certification (based on clock hours). Presenters of all concurrent sessions (teacher presentations and workshops) are required to check in and pick up a session evaluation packet at the start of the conference. Packets must be picked up at the meeting facility where the session is scheduled. Presenters then distribute evaluation forms to attendees at the latter part of the session.
Attendees complete this short evaluation and deposit the form in the evaluation drop-off boxes located in each meeting facility. Attendees MUST enter their badge numbers accurately (up to seven digits) on the evaluation form to have their attendance at the session documented. Presenters may also complete an evaluation form for their session in order to track professional development credit.
Three weeks after the last day of the conference, an attendee can visit the NSTA website ecommerce2.nsta.org/transcript to access a transcript of his or her attendance at specific sessions and to document credit for other activities that are not being evaluated (e.g., field trips, short courses, exhibit hall visits, featured speakers, General Session, meetings, exhibitor workshops, Professional Development Institutes, etc.). Attendees should be careful to track their own attendance at such events.
The transcript can be printed from the NSTA website ecommerce2.nsta.org/transcript and presented to an administrator who requires documentation of participation in the conference. All information in these transcripts will be maintained (and can be accessed) indefinitely as part of an attendee’s individual profile.
